Rock N Roll Bride website - June 4th, 2013
Claire and Iain's fantastical Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea Party, was featured on both the Rock N Roll Bride website, but also their Facebook page! My work was credited under 'Supporting Cast - Brides hat #2' and featured in the gallery of wedding photos. For more pictures of Claire's hat and matching garter, please visit my 'Customer Photographs' section. The full write up of their wedding, including lots more photographs, can be found here |
International Steampunk Fashion book, by Lady Lisa 2013
Photographed by Soulstealer Photography, at the Asylum Steampunk Convention, held annually in Lincoln, England.
I'm the one on the right page, wearing my Sherlock Holmes inspired checked outfit and hat, all made by me. I didn't even know I was in this book, until my friend (bottom right of the facing page) told me! The book International Steampunk Fashion is a collection of outfits and costumes from throughout the world. |
Living Bride Magazine, Spring Edition 2012
The photoshoot was held at the 5* Cedar Court Grand Hotel and Spa in York. I was asked to be involved in the shoot, as my hats were deemed suitable for the photoshoot theme, which was 'Victorian Splendour'. The photographs depict four models, who wore 4 bridal hats, in silks and lace, of different sizes and designs to suit the dress styles and surroundings.
1000 Steampunk Creations book, by Dr Grymm, 2011
Photographed with my friends, the 'Discombobulous Crew' by Soulstealer Photography again, at the Asylum Steampunk Convention, held annually in Lincoln, England.
I'm at the centre of the picture, wearing my Sherlock Holmes inspired outfit, including bustle skirt, bolero jacket, corset and mini top hat, all made by me. The book 1000 Steampunk Creations was a collection of 1000 Neo-Victorian fashions, gears and art. |
Steampunk Emporium book, by Jema Hewitt, 2011
Photographed by the author, Jema Hewitt herself, I was asked to model for her book, Steampunk Emporium, which brings together a number of projects to create jewellery, devices and oddments.
Each project was supported by a tale about a particular character, of which I portrayed the Airship Pirate Captain, 'Andromeda Darkstorm'! Jema provided with most elements of my costume, although the cropped military jacket was my own customised piece and the raygun I'm holding was made by my husband, of the Discombobulous Workshop. |
The Whitby Gazette, Gothic Weekend Special, April 2009
This photograph was taken by the Whitby Gazette photographer, to include in the bi-annual special edition they do to celebrate the Whitby Gothic Weekend held in the town.
Unfortunately, the picture in the press was labelled at 'Cheri from London', rather than 'Teri from York', much to the hilarity of my friends... but I can promise you, it is me!! lol! ;o) The complete outfit was designed and pulled together by me, of which the walking skirt, bustle and jacket were made by yours truly! |
