I love your work! How can I buy something from you?
You will find under my page Ready to Ship, there is always a number of items that are available to be posted to you right away. Perfect for that last minute gift or a treat for yourself! These items will be posted out to you within 1 week.
Otherwise, for my all 'Made to Order' items, please visit my Etsy shop. Provided I have the suitable materials in stock, I try to have all made to order items shipped within two weeks for hats and fascinators and one week for garters, charms and shoe clips. Custom orders do take longer, which will be discussed when you place your order. Please Contact Me to discuss an order.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I can accept Paypal payments or Bank Transfers, whichever you prefer. Paypal means I can accept debit and credit card payments, as well as funds from your Paypal balance. Bank Transfers mean that you can pay me direct from your online bank account, with no fees payable for either party.
Do you always ask for payment upfront?
No, not always, I can flexible with my payment options, however, for stock items, I do request full payment upfront please.
However, for custom work, I request a 50% deposit to be paid when you place your order and the remaining 50% plus postage is only payable once the item is finished and before it is shipped.
Do you offer any forms of payment plan?
Yes! I know that sometimes we fall in love with something that's beyond our budget, so I'm always happy to work out monthly or weekly payment plans, for those who are looking to spend more than they initially intended to! Brides in particular, often tend to struggle with payment for items in full, a long time in advance, so I can easily agree a payment plan with you to make things a little easier for you financially. Payment plans are available on request at the time of ordering, or once an order has been made.
Do You ship internationally?
Yes! I'm happy to shop almost anywhere! I'm currently living in France, so my 'made to order' items are dispatched from my local post office. Stock items are dispatched from the UK.
I regularly ship to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. I ship all international parcels via 'Petite Packet' post, however express and insured services are available on request.
I aim to keep my postage and packaging prices to a minimum, but also like to ensure that your purchase is packaged safely and securely.
How are your products packaged?
Full outfits are always sent boxed, packed as tightly as possible to ensure their safety and the most cost effective postage I can offer.
My hats are always sent to you in a sturdy postage box, and packed tightly around the hat with bubblewrap, paper and polystyrene to ensure their safe journey.
Garters and other bridal accessories, will be sent to you in a strong, book-fold box, lined with a pretty paper, making them perfect for a gift or keepsake!
Other smaller accessories are sent in a padded envelope, for safe and cost effective postage.
I've received my hat, but how do I wear it!?!
My mini, micro and western style hats are all made with three elastic loops to the underneath of the brim, to the edge of the hat lining, one to the back two to the sides. These loops are hidden when your wearing your hat, but enable you to use your preferred way of wearing your hat! You can choose from:
I'm all about options! Some of my friends use hair combs when wearing their hats, but as my hair is fine, I personally prefer a hat elastic on my larger hats and alligator clips on my micro hats and fascinators (all my fascinators have an alligator clip attached hidden underneath), so I wanted to give you the choice too! We're all different, so I wanted to give you the options of how you wear it!
What is your returns policy?
All non-custom made items are returnable, if they are found to be faulty, within 14 days of arrival with you. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you originally used for payment. Any refund will only be issued once the item is returned and I've been able to inspect it. I can only accept returns which have not been used or worn. Unfortunately, shipping costs will not be refunded.
Do you offer a bespoke service?
Yes! I LOVE to work with my clients to create any item unique to you! I specialise in designing and creating, one-of-a-kind pieces to meet individual customers wishes and dreams!
Over the past few years, I have made many items for brides, dancers and other clients. I have made bespoke garters for brides, to match their theme, colour scheme or a hobby or passion. I have also made several hats, accessories and outfits for brides and other customers attending parties and special events, with a vision of what they're looking for, which they'd never find off the shelf.
For larger orders, such as full outfits, wherever possible, I offer a face to face consultation. Alternatively, I always offer consultations via Skype, email and Etsy and Facebook conversations for all my clients.
Prices for my bespoke pieces are dependent on the product, materials and trimmings used. I DO NOT CHARGE for my time for sourcing materials or working on your design, ONLY the time it takes to design and create your bespoke items.
Time scales for custom pieces are dependant on the product being made, the quantity required and my workloads at that time. I always like to ensure that your items arrive with you, with a minimum of 4 weeks before your special occasion. and often even longer. Please Contact Me, so we can discuss your requirements. - Tie a hat elastic strap to the two side loops and wear the strap around the back of your head
- Use alligator clips or bobby pins, by sliding them through two or three of the loops and attaching them to your hair
- Slip a hair comb into the rear and side loop, then sliding the comb into your hair
- Slide a hair band through the two side loops and simply place this on your head and position your hat where you want it.
